Introducing Buy Now Pay Later

Walk London Klarna

We have woken up to great news this morning at Walk London HQ. On the back burner for a couple of weeks our online team have confirmed that Buy Now Pay Later and split payment options are now available to UK customers at the checkout with Klarna.

Great news for those who want to treat themselves - or someone special - when payday seems an age away these options mean you don't have to wait for the end of the month and risk sizes selling out or items going out of stock.

What is Klarna you say? Used by some of the world’s largest retailers including ASOS our team have summarized who and what Klarna is for those who want to stay in the know below.

Who Exactly Are Klarna?

Klarna is a Swedish payment service that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Providing smooth payments to over 70,000 stores, over 60 million people worldwide trust Klarna to securely handle their payments, while they enjoy their purchases.

How Does Klarna Work?

Within two days of your order being confirmed you should have received an email with payment instructions from Klarna with payment instructions. If you haven’t received an email with payment or statement information by the time you come to make a payment you can log in at klarna.com/uk , where you will find all of your orders and be able to make payments. Once you’ve either received your confirmation email or logged into Klarna simply pay via debit or credit card and complete the payment online, at your convenience, with no extra cost.

How to settle statements with Klarna

While you do have 30 days to pay for your order you can pay for it at any point after you receive details of your payment via email from Klarna, to which you can simply pay for your order by following the instructions on the email. In regards to your payment, you can pay with your credit or debit immediately at the checkout or you can take advantage of our pay later payment option, to which you can pay for your goods once you’ve received them via your debit or credit card.

If your due date is near and there is no sign of your goods, please get in contact with our customer services team to check on delivery. You can also contact Klarna’s Customer Service so that you can postpone the due date on your payment.

Who Can Use Klarna?

In order to use Klarna’s services you must be at least 18. Currently this is only available to customers in the United Kindgom. Whilst this option extensively promoted, Pay later is subject to your financial circumstances. And when selecting Pay later, your credit rating will not be affected by our assessment. If you are 18 or over, by providing your full name and accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address, this can improve your chances of being offered Pay later. Due to Klarna’s unique system, Pay later is also offered based on a number of factors including order value, previous order history and item availability. All orders processed are assessed individually. Just because you have had Pay later before does not mean it will be offered for every order and in turn, as it is denied does not mean it will be denied for all future orders.

What happens when I Cancel or Return an item purchased through Klarna?

As soon as we have registered your cancellation or your return, the refund will be processed and will show on your Klarna account within 5 business days.

If you have paid for your order with a card, the refund will be made back to the same card. If you have not paid the statement yet, then the refund will reduce the statement or cancel it completely. Once we receive the return (whether it be partially or full) and you have received confirmation of this, an updated statement will be sent to you via Klarna if you’ve made a partial return. With a full return, your statement will be closed.
